Kung Fu Panda 2: The Kaboom of Doom

I bet many of you had watched Kung Fu Panda 1 last 2 years ( 2008 ).

I find it quite comedic right? So did I.


And, yes, it is voiced by Jack Black. 

Well, in 2011, Kung Fu Panda 2 : Kaboom Of Doom is when Po, is now a kung fu master , fighting alongside Master Shifu & the Furious 5. They then joined forces with another group of kung fu masters; Skunkman, Thundering Rhino, Soothsayer & Croc to defeat Shen, a peacock who plans to use a secret weapon that can destroy kung fu forever..

I can't find any images of the new characters though but I'm sure it will come out soon...

The film Unstoppable is actually based on a true story in the year 2001, in which involved a runaway CSX Transportation engine.

The locomotive is spotted the number 8888 (above) , and not 777 (below) as in the film. 8888 is a SD40-2 model, made more than 25 years earlier. While 777 is a purchased fictional locomotive.

The Green Hornet.

I'm sure most of you had seen the latest trailer for the upcoming film of " The Green Hornet " that will be released next year. (2011)

This film is starring Seth Rogen & Jay Chou,

Well, I didn't know that Jay Chou would act in an action movie in the US though. 

Review Of : Harry Potter & The Deathly Hallows ( Part 1)

I can't really comment much on this movie since it's only part 1 of the whole story.


But, here's my review.


Not so fast-paced at the start of the movie, but it begins to pick up a little speed later.
It is a little humourous & rather comedic because of the clumsy & blur character of  Ron Weasley.

Their graphics are quite good. And I think it would look better in 3D.

The ending of HP 7 part 1 is hanging since it's continuing next year...

Anyways, good movie. I think the cinemas should show back-to-back of Harry Potter 7

( part 1) & ( part 2 ). It would be much better. Here's my rating..

Book Review : The Hunt For Atlantis by Andy McDermott.

I've read a book named The Hunt For Atlantis written by author Andy McDermott.

Well, the book revolves around an archeologist named Nina Wilde. She & her parents are extremely "obsessed"  with the legend of Atlantis. When her parents died, she continues their quest in search for Atlantis. 


Nina believes she knows where Atlantis is, but what she needs now is funding on the expedition.
But, when renowned billionaire Kristian Frost offers her the funding, without thinking twice, she accepted the offer and begin her expedition with Frost's daughter, Kari & ex-SAS bodyguard Eddie Chase, the hunt begins..


But, the leader of the shadowy Brotherhood of Selasphorus ; Giovanni Qobras wants to stop them and anyone who is searching for Atlantis. Nina and the team find themselves in a death race against time across the world from Iran to Brazil to Tibet in search for the lost city..


For containe=d within the city of Atlantis is a secret that could vanquish civilisations for ever...

My rating on the book :

One thing that I can say about this book ; Action Packed Till The End!

PLOT 

- a very thrilling & suspense plot that keeps your eyes glued to the book.

STORYLINE 

- simple yet interesting storyline.

USAGE OF WORDS 

- simple usage of vocab that let's the reader understand the scene of the story better.

Although he uses a few vulgar words.

In CONCLUSION,

Besides the vulgar words, the book is a great book and I recommend it to readers who love action & thriller books or movies! .


This book adoes have the capabilities if being made into a  movie though . 

Well, ' The Hunt For Atlantis ' is just one of his 6 books he had written.

The second book will the ' The Tomb of Hercules '

Well, before I watched a movie, there was a teaser trailer for an upcoming movie called ' Rio '.

When I watched the trailer in the cinemas, it was 3D & you can really feel like you're flying.
Almost all movies are 3D. Looks like we've to save up to watch them :P 

From the teaser trailer; the movie revolves around a paranoid macaw named Blu, that thinks he can't fly.


Well, we've have to wait till next year to find out more!

Disney's Cars 2

Yup, you heard me right, CARS 2 is coming into cinemas next year ( 2011 ).

Cars 1 that was screened during 2006, it earned more than $400 million at worldwide box office.


From the success of Cars 1, the team had created a sequel, Cars 2.


But, Cars 2 take a whole lot different scene into a Global World Tour.Togetehr, Lighting McQueen  & Mater together embark into Europe & Japan. But, their journey got caught up by an international intrigue, an espionage. And they are joined in their adventure by a new car on the scene, British superspy Finn McMissile.

In my mind, when I first saw this car; was a James Bond Aston Martin, and I was right!


The design of Finn McMissile (above) is inspired by the ultimate spy car, James Bond's silver 1964 Aston Martin DB5.

“My Magical Journey”

Which part of Narnia would I explore?

 

Well, I don't know much of Narnia, .. Well, untill :

Untill, I was teleported  into the World of Narnia...

 

I arrived at a beautiful place in the land of Narnia called Cair Paravel..

Cair Paravel is a very wonderful place.... 

And as I entered into Cair Paravel, a lion named Aslan greeted me..


Well, I wasn't really that shocked thst I was talking to a lion, since this is a magical land. :P 


He told me all that was Narnia before the reign of The White Witch...


" The White Witch ? " i asked in confusion.
" The White Witch made the whole of Narnia covered with snow for years..." he replied. 

I learned that there isn't spring,summer nor autumn in this land..only the freezing cold winter..


In order to save Narnia from the reign of the cold-blooded, evil White Witch, I am to fight her...
I was so shocked & I told him I can't.


I asked him ( it ), since his the rightful king of Narnia, he can go into battle, but he say I am the chosen one.. 


" it's like from some story " I thought in my mind..


I just arrive in this land & now they're asking me to fight an evil witch?!! 

What made be even more depressed, is that the battle is tomorrow!


But, the Narnians were on my side by supporting me. 


The Narnians thought me how to fight in a battle during that evening..




On the day, Aslan & the Narnians equipped me with the armor and a 
magical sword and a magical box..

As I looked out through the window, I saw The White Witch with her army.

I gasp in fear but I toughen up myself and said to my self that the fate of Narnia in in my hands.

I took my first step out , then Aslan stopped me and said; " The items in the magical box will unleash great power. But, use it when in great need. " . 


I nodded and headed out in battle.

.

We had a 1-on-1 battle.

She headed for me and took her sword trying to slash my arm, but my shield protected me as I quickly grab my sword to stab her.

She swerve to the side like nothing.

Then, she tried to stab me as I quickly turn to the side and leap back into action.

I tried to stab her but she defended with her sword and flung my sword into the air.

Looks like I wasn't prepared  fro fighting yet... ( obviously, especially when fighting a witch. )

I ran in attempt to retrieve my sword , but before I could grab it, a sword when flying through the air like a throw knife and stuck onto the ground. 

I was afraid as I took the swords out and charge to her.

But her strength was too powerful and I went to the ground.

.

.

I felt like all hope was lost untill I took out the Magical Box.

In that box contain nothing but a book that states " The Chronicles Of Narnia "

" WHAT! ", Aslan expects me to use a book to fight The White Witch?

.

" Unleashes great power?!! " I thought in anger.

But I turned my head around and saw The White Witch running towards me with her sword held high aiming to me!

I was scared as I threw the book towards her.

To my astonishment the book opened and it formed into some sort of  blackhole and dragged the White Witch into the book!

In a blink of an eye, she vanished into the book.


Everyone was astonished & shocked. Then, minutes later, all the Narnians applauded in joy!







Now, Narnia is saved from the reign of The White Witch.
And peace is restored to this land.


All the Narnians  want me to stay, I wanted to decline but I can't leave this beautiful land, so I decided to stay.


So, what can I do in here? I decided to write a book about my experience in Narnia.
Of course I wouldn't use my own name in this story, so, I decided to change the story into a story of 4 siblings into an unknown land called Narnia.


Well, you might have been wondering who am I ?


Well, my name is Lewis; Clive Staples Lewis or C.S. Lewis for short. 


Maybe you're the only person that heard of my name. But I hope that my stories will inspire many other people in this world and I hope that it maybe a movie! :)
