The Smurfs Movie

Yup, The Smurfs is coming into the big screens next year, 2011.

The synopsis is as follows.. 


When the evil wizard Gargamel chases the tiny blue Smurfs out of their village, they tumble from their magical world and into ours -- in fact, smack dab in the middle of Central Park. Just three apples high and stuck in the Big Apple, the Smurfs must find a way to get back to their village before Gargamel tracks them down. 

And its a 3D Animated film, not your 2D smurf but 

...3D!

The film is in post-production and is expected to be out by August 2011. 

This movie is directed by Raja Gosnell
