Review Of : The Adjustment Bureau

Bookmark and Share

I have just watched " The Adjustment Bureau "

Directed by George Nolfi.
Acted by Matt Damon & Emily Blunt.

Good movie. Quite confusing though. Was Expecting more..

The storyline goes by :
On the brink of winning a seat in the U.S. Senate, ambitious politician David Norris (Matt Damon) meets beautiful contemporary ballet dancer Elise Sellas (Emily Blunt), a woman like none he's ever known. But just as he realises he's falling for her, mysterious men conspire to keep the two apart. David learns he is up against the agents of Fate itself - the men of The Adjustment Bureau - who will do everything in their considerable power to prevent David and Elise from being together. In the face of overwhelming odds, he must either let her go and accept a predetermined path or risk everything to defy Fate and be with her.

Even though, Matt Damon acted in many action movies, this movie is not really those kind of action-packed movies he acted in..

The film is quite confusing at the beginning, do pay close attention.
It then slows down a little but the film picks up speed in the end..

In conclusion, rather confusing & not too action-packed, But, still its quite a good movie but I expected more.

My Rating?

Plot : 3.75/5
Storyline : 4/5
Acting* : 3.75/5
Action** : 3.25/5
OVERALL : 7.5/10.

Well, looks like Inception & The King's Speech got 4 Oscars! :D
And The Social Network walked away with 3 Oscars.

But, I was hoping for Inception to win Best Original Score.

And I was shock that 127 Hours & True Grit did not win any. :O

Anyways, those are the results. :)
